This Saturday, something unusual is happening in Newcastle.

Just six days before the event, Joska Šálek - known for holding the longest plank in the world (9h 38min 47sec) -  decided he would complete a weighted plank with 45kg on his back for longer than the current world record of 20 minutes and 3 seconds.

No special training plan.

No dramatic countdown.

No pressure.

Why?

Because, in Joska's words:

"The body knows. The mind knows. I simply allow it to happen."

This is an opportunity for you to witness what becomes possible when a human being chooses trust over fear, awareness over force and acceptance over resistance.

What You'll Experience

As Joska enters the plank, Michaela "Miska" Werner - freediving coach  - will guide you through the mental principles behind his performance and how they apply to everyday life.

Together we'll explore:

• How to remain calm when life / or performance becomes uncomfortable

• Why force often creates more struggle

• The relationship between body and mind

• How trust is built through practice

• Finding the calm in the middle of the storm

• Why playfulness can sometimes achieve what pressure cannot

These are not just lessons for world records.

They are lessons for sport, business, parenting, relationships and life.

More Than a Backpack

The 45kg on Joska’s back is a powerful metaphor of what we all carry in life — responsibility, pressure, expectation, uncertainty, fear.

The question is not WHETHER we carry weight. The question is HOW we carry it.

As Joska enters the plank, you’ll be guided to reflect on your own relationship with pressure — not through force, but through awareness.

We won’t focus only on the obvious question:

How long can he hold?
Instead, we’ll explore:
What can we learn from the way he holds it?

Why This Matters

In a world that constantly tells us to push harder, do more and be better, Joska offers a different perspective.

The body and mind are not enemies. When they work together, challenges become lighter.

Whether you're navigating sport, business, relationships, parenting or simply the ups and downs of life, the principles are the same:

Less force. More awareness.

Less resistance. More acceptance.

Less pressure. More trust.

If you're curious about resilience, mindset, human potential and finding inner calm in discomfort, this experience is for you.
