THERE IS SOMETHING COOL HAPPENING AT LAMBTON POOL
WEEKLY FREEDIVING POOL TRAINING
Move better. Freedive with more joy & purpose.
WEDNESDAYS 4:15 - 5:45pm
We’ll aim for a later start as summer opening hours extend. Timing updates will be confirmed in our WhatsApp group.
Do you dream of longer, deeper, more joyful dives?
Make your dream a reality and come join our small crew of freedivers in Lambton pool.
Each Wednesday, we’ll stretch, practise breath holds, catch up and spend an hour in the pool building fitness, refining technique and finding more ease on a single breath.
These sessions are about steady progress and enjoying the process together. No maximum dives or competition targets—just purposeful training, guided by me, at a level that suits you.
For freedivers who have completed a freediving course.

I'M MICHAELA - YOUR FREEDIVING COACH
Two-time Guinness World Record holder, no-fins addict (despite the pic 😉), competitive freediver, coach and lifelong student of water.
I’ve been freediving since 2009 and have trained and coached hundreds of freedivers along the way. Today, I coach people worldwide across pool and depth disciplines, helping them to become their best by developing their technique, confidence and enjoyment of the water.
The story behind my coaching
Years of training have taught me to pay attention to the small things: the intention you carry into the water, the breath you take before a dive, the tension in a shoulder, the timing of a kick and the quality of your recovery breaths. These details tell me so much about how you’re experiencing a dive—and where a little guidance could make a difference.
I see each person as an individual, with their own experience, abilities and reasons for being in the water. Even in a group, I take time to notice how you move, listen to how you feel and help you find what works for you.
Efficiency before distance. Awareness before effort.
Especially at the beginning, how you feel matters more to me than how far you go. We build from there—with purposeful practice, patience and room to enjoy the process.
I want you to leave our sessions feeling accomplished and recharged, with something left to give to the rest of your life. For me, that’s what good training should offer.
